Kane your memorial was a great success with all your friends and family making it a special tribute to you lovely boy. The weather for the swim wasn't the best with rain and strong winds but everyone turned up to show their love for you. The boys set the fireworks off over the field and what a spectacular display it was, topped off with a shooting star floating across the sky. We knew it was a sign you were with us and enjoying the night. We had a quiet time yesterday which was the anniversary of the day we found out you had left this world there just the 6 of us Mam, Demi, Auntie Clare, me and grandad. we had a balloon release and fireworks on the beach. Talking about balloons, we let some go before your memorial swim, and thought we wouldn't that was the last wev'e seen of them. Then Kirsten met Faye from WAGADA and when she told her about the swim and balloons, Faye said she went out into her garden the day after and found a heart shaped balloon in her garden. She didn't know about the memorial swim so she put the balloon in the bin. When Kirsten told her where it had come from she said she was going home to take it out of the bin and keep it as long as she could. She said it must have come from you and we'd like to think it was to cos she was so good to you and loved you dearly. She went way above her job description to help you so i'm glad you sent her the balloon. Well beautiful boy i have to sign off now cos Skinner the little pup is nagging me for some reason, come to think of it he's just like you, loving, caring, loyal and sometimes a pain in the backside lol. Only joking lovely boy. Hope you are happy and at peace. We will love and miss you always and forever xxx
